⚡New publication in Nature #Communication revealing that #radiotherapy impairs #wound healing in #cancer survivors by altering the chromatin landscape of dermal #fibroblasts, leading to #epigenetic memory.

Researchers identified THBS1 as a key gene involved in this process and demonstrated that anti-THBS1 antibodies can improve wound healing in RT-affected skin.

These findings offer promising therapeutic avenues to enhance the quality of life for cancer survivors.
